The portico that in the Middle Ages faced the sea, traditional center of trade and services of primary interest for those who work in the port
The waterfront of tower-houses and buildings that has always been presented to those who land as a wall, without a welcoming square or an invitation to enter, instead it has at the base a portico without solutions of continuity, a sort of linear souk on which dozens of taverns were opened. A place in which for centuries you could buy boat tools and street food, imported goods and very local products for those who sail the sea.
