A baroque masterpiece, one of the most famous symbols of the city.
A peculiar building, designed by Guarino Guarini, specifically built between the apse of the Cathedral and the rooms of the Royal Palace to seal the Pact between the King, who owned the Shroud, and the Church, that received the Sacred Linen. The outcome of an ingenious signaling system in the city landscape, the dome of the Chapel of the Shroud stands out in the city centre skyline.
