Museum and UNESCO heritage, the Royal Palace is part of an exceptional monumental complex, which housed the government of the Kingdom
A complex of buildings built between the seventeenth and eighteenth century with a design that is at the same time simple and majestic. The Royal Palace creates a series of spaces that complete the central square of the city and ideally separated the king from the city in a simple and elegant way, still maintaining a functional and visual relation with the religious and civic buildings of the city (the Dome, the City Hall, the Senate).
