The iconography that educates the people
The church appears as a pedagogical text: all the decorative apparatus is centered on the theme of the Eucharist and the miraculous episode. Bread as an element of salvation is the common topic with also the Old Testament protagonists, didactically represented in the statues of the facade: Moses, Elias, Samson and Melchizedek.
