1923, Italgas Holding

The Officina Vanchiglia (known as Gasometer) was built by Anonima Gaz Luce of Turin, born in 1856. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the company started massive reconstruction work oon plants and buildings, designed in a liberty style. After the transformations of the 1930s and the destruction of World War II, there are still only a few buildings, including the office building. Gas Offices were hit twice in 1943: the first on July 13, the second on August 8.
