The view from the Bell Tower
The bell tower of the Basilica delle Vigne, whose form was quite similar to the other bell towers of the same time (San Giovanni di Prè, Sant'Agostino) with its 40 meters high (56 if you also count the cusp) stands in the maze of the old town.
From the bell tower of the basilica, towards the sea, you can see the whole city. From the Lantern to the maze of alleys where the bell tower of San Siro stands, demolished in the thirties.
