Santuario della Consolata Torino

In 1704 the besieged city was recommended to the Consolata for its own salvation and, as an ex-voto, some pillars were put in the points of greater importance of the city. Near the sanctuary you can still see the votive pillar erected in 1706 for grace received: in this case of thanksgiving after the victory over the French.
