One of the most ancient churches of Turin

In the mid-thirteenth century the original church was oriented to the east (turned 90 degrees compared to the current), and included only the spaces of the current sacristy, the chapel "delle Grazie" and the presbytery. The altar was placed towards the current Via Milano. The ancient gate (now walled) opened on the "cloister of the dead".
