The interiors

Today the traces of a Gothic style inside the church are almost unnoticeable. The complex is in 16th century style, except for four pointed arches at the base of the dome. As usual two rows of columns separate the aisles. The choir, as well as the altar, the two pulpits and the urns of the presbytery were designed by Montorsoli and Cosini. The overall aspect is therefore that of a Renaissance church.
