A main street to the city centre

Piazza Statuto is an urban gate added in the nineteenth century to make Via Garibaldi the imaginary entrance to the city centre. The street accompanies visitors from the eighteenth century city borders to the main square and to Palazzo Madama.

The photo taken from Google Earth shows via Garibaldi, from Piazza Statuto up to Palazzo Madama.
