Piazza Cavour e Via Turati Genova

The openings of the Piazza del Molo and, immediately after, of the street Turati constitute an important piece of the total reorganization of the Port, begun after the annexation of Genoa to the Piedmont, with the add of the railway to Caricamento, the new docks of Molo Vecchio equipped with cranes and the pier Giano. During the second half of the 1800s, the square and the street are facing the port for those who work there, but less and less for goods or passengers who move on the other piers of the harbor.
