Via Po Torino

Via Po is not only a main street for the city, but also a very fascinating place for visitors. Under the arcades many shopfronts have remained as they were in the nineteenth century: Musy, watchmakers and goldsmiths of the Real Casa; the University perfumery; the Cartoleria Economica, the Augusta music shop... Other shops have been completely transformed and, especially in recent years, taken over by low-cost brands and chains and by many bars and street food shops. The arcades are marked by the various second-hand book shops, that close at night around the columns.
