North door

The monumental door, designed by Juvarra at the entrance to via Milano, no longer exists. Breaking down the fortified walls of Turin was the first order of Napoleon, who entered triumphantly in Turin in June 1800. However, the current entrance to the street faithfully reproduces the Juvarra design.
