A building with garden

In the block between Via San Francesco da Paola and Via Carlo Alberto we find the only building that has maintained a villa with garden: the Porta-Bava building, designed by Lombardi and then modified by Antonelli, with neoclassical front on Via Pomba and garden up to Viale del Re. The building is later extended with side bodies and stables in the garden. At the end of the 19th century, when it became the Palace and then the seat of Martini and Rossi, Camillo Riccio designed an elegant front on the Corso, with a large arched portico, in axis with the ancient building, at the end of the garden.
