A large museum of Genoese culture and sculptures in a main religious complex of the medieval city that was devastated by bombing
A large 13th-century church with a peculiar bell tower which stands out over the skyline of the Castello hill. The monastery is built around two cloisters: one of them is oddly triangular and acts as an entrance to the civic museum, rearranged in 1984, and is full of educational activities, exhibitions and of surprising testimonies of the art hosted in Genoa and Liguria in the last millennium.
