Bombing of July 13th, 1943
In the night between 12th and 13th July,1943,Turin was stricken by the most violent bombing by RAF on an Italian town. The attack didn't have a strategic purpose, as public places, like the General Cemetery, were stricken. The tombs suffered severe damage.
