Structural components
The project is based on a modular structure composed of 16 independent umbrella pillars. A shaped and reinforced concrete-edge-gallery holds a predominantly glazed shell. It is the result of years of experimentation, which led to the patents of a material, the iron-cement, and a constructive process, the structural prefabrication.
Construction details of the Palazzo del Lavoro: "the mushrooms", the isostatic floor, the windows and the sunbreaker.
