Dated December 1960. Dear Nervi, everything in your pavilion is aesthetically coherent and even the seam of glass at the top between element and element is a delight of purity. What you need to avoid in the first appearance of your work is that row of large hanging lamps, which clash so damn much. Since I don't use them at all, please remove them, for the purity of your creation; then if it will be necessary, we will put them back. I embrace you with affection.
