A "hinge" of the "Control Zone"

The Teatro Regio now occupies the space of the Royal Academy, which has played an important role as a hinge in the "Command Area", between the institutional and service (the Cavallerizze and the Mint) along Via Verdi. The complex is configured through the expansion plan towards the river Po on a project drawn up by Amedeo di Castellamonte.
