Residenze Sabaude - Cavallerizza Reale Torino

Alfieri designed the Cavallerizza as a sort of sacred space: a single nave of almost 75 meters, with 12 niches on the walls with the function of stands for the spectators. In addition, the project took action on the central roundabout, providing an atrium on the ground floor and a chapel used by the Academy on the upper floors. On the upper floor there were apartments for the pages, the chief squire, the teacher and the waiters.
