Residenze Sabaude - L'Accademia Reale Torino

Following a fire at the Teatro Regio in 1936 and the injuries caused by the bombings of 1943, only a few fragments of the loggia and a short section of the east sleeve remain of the seventeenth century construction. Despite the fragmentary nature of this part, the entire complex, from the Royal Palace to the Cavallerizza (therefore including the buildings rebuilt on the foundations of Accadenia) has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage, together with the other Savoy residences in the Turin area.
