Basilica di Superga Torino

The historical tramway was built on 26th april 1884 and it is still working today. The fist ride was operated by a funicular runway system moved by a driving engine and a rope ,made of steel, that went by the side of the rail on pulleys set along the way. The route was changed, in 1934, into a central rail traction tramway and today it offers to the tourists an old time trip on the original wagons and an unforgettable view.
