Palazzo Mocenigo Este

Since the end of the 1800s the city took back its "castle". Almost to mark a change of class, at the door of the Palace is inaugurated in 1906, between flags and sunshade, a monument to the "Bardo of democracy", Felice Cavallotti, the Mazzinian garibaldino, rhetor and writer, founder of the historical left extremism then merged in the Radical Party, then after few years killed in a duel with a conservative journalist.
