In the incision the complex appears in its two original symmetrical bodies; the one to the right of the access portal to today's public gardens of the Castle was lost after a fire. The buildings in front of the Palazzo are already part of the city blocks (the carriage would be in Piazza Maggiore), while the garden of the Castle is symbolically reduced to a prospective avenue.
