Teatro Carlo Felice Genova

The Opera house that marks the new center since 1826, rebuilt with a bulky tower that characterizes the city skyline.

The theater is the starting point of the new centrality developed on the edge of the ancient city. To the South, the pronaos, like a secular temple, characterizes the new Piazza DeFerrari. To the North, it opens to via Roma and Galleria Mazzini, with offices, residences and qualified businesses from the late 1800s. The interior, damaged since 1943, was rebuilt with a controversial project by Aldo Rossi, relaunching Genoa in the circuit of the opera.
