A very ancient church with an adventurous history of disasters and resurrections on the edge of the city of the late 1800s.
Church of monks of S.Colombano (from Bobbio). It was built before 1000, then enlarged and equipped with a bell tower in the 14th century, then destroyed and rebuilt in the last 100 years. From the outside, it looks like a museum artefact, stuck and hung between Via XX Settembre and the Monumental Bridge, inside it restores an ancient atmosphere, with the apse raised on a thousand-year-old crypt.
