Palazzo San Giorgio Genova

After the Napoleonic period Genoa lost its autonomy and the role of the Palace lapsed (even if the port continued to develop) lying in a state of neglect until the restoration of the early '900 as a monumental historical building. The current use is the headquarters of the Port Consortium, which also holds a large historical archive of the activities of the port and of their owners.
