The pre-Romanesque crypt

The construction period of the crypt is uncertain. Notwithstanding, a structural continuity with the church hall is visible, the crypt is composed of capitals and columns made in an earlier period, probably these elements come from a preexisting crypt or a baptismal building attached to the church.

The photograph shows the columns of reuse dating back to the Lombard period.
