Chiesa di Santo Stefano al Monte Candia Canavese

For the first time, the church of Santo Stefano al Monte was mentioned in the list of properties of the Hospice of Santi Nicholas and Bernardo; these buildings were placed under the protection of Pope Alexander III in 1177. Consequently, Santo Stefano became one of the active priories along the Via Francigena.
