The frescoes

Inside the walls and apse there are stratified traces of frescoes dating back to the Fifteenth century, attributed to Domenico della Marca di Ancora or his workshop. The paintings on the walls, now restored, bear the traces of a decisive abandonment. The only recognisable figures are St George and St John; another unrecognisable saint and the tail of the dragon also emerged from the cleaning of the property.

The figure of St John, recognisable by the cloak of skins covering him, is flanked by the figure of another saint who is unrecognisable due to the deterioration of the fresco.
