Chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Paolo Bollengo

The historical information material of the church, like that of the Ciucarun of Bollengo, is very fragmentary. The first documents, dating back to around 1185, refer to an old chapel belonging to the Bishop of Ivrea and his parish life. The other certain information is that in 1250, Pessano was abandoned in favour of Borgo Franco di Bollengo, but the building remained an active place of meeting and worship in the centuries that followed.
