Via Roma in XIX century

During the following centuries, no substantial changes took place on Via Roma. In the 1920s the construction of Piazza Carlo Felice began with the creation of the two blocks on the Via Nuova based on a neoclassical design by the architects Lombardi and Frizzi. A period began in which there was a certain deterioration of the façades and internal buildings; the need to start renovation projects was evident, but neither the façade, nor the interior of the blocks will undergo changes.
