Quartiere "La Falchera" Torino

The project was created to cope with the post-war housing emergency, partly due to the strong migratory flow attracted by industrial development. Some public housing programs run by the INA-Casa are launched. With Falchera, 6,000 new inhabitants are located in the far north of the city, near the industrial areas Snia Viscosa and Fiat. In a similar way a few years later it developed south of the city Mirafiori which in full development will welcome 12,000 inhabitants.
