Mozart, Napoleon and Verdi hotel
Among the illustrious guests of theDogana Vecchia there were Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, fifteen years old, who took up lodging with his father from January 14 to 31, 1771; Napoleon, winner of the Battle of Marengo, was hosted here on 22 June 1800. Finally Giuseppe Verdi used it during his stay in the capital after his election to the Chamber of Deputies.
