The roundabout at the border of the ancient walls
It is located at the intersection of the Valdocco, Principe Eugenio, Regina Margherita and Gian Francesco Cigna courses. It was created after the demolition of the walls, commissioned by Napoleon on 23 June 1800. Regina Margherita and Principe Eugenio streets (at the border of the ancient town of the city) follow almost exactly the ancient fortified path of the walls of Turin.
In the maps of the master plan of 1817 following the Napoleonic era, the Rondò della Forca is highlighted at intersections among the border streets
