Place de France and piazza Paesana

After the problems of the State of Savoy and the exile of Charles Emmanuel IV of Savoy, the French arrived in Turin and changed the names of the streets. The square then became Place de France. After the French rule, the former Piazza Segusina changed its name to Paesana, due to its proximity to the Palazzo Saluzzo of Paesana.
