The back of Palazzo Madama, where the door opened to Via Po, was occupied in 1937 by a monument to the Duke of Aosta Emanuele Filiberto, general in the First World War. The strength and severity of the sculptures and the position in axis on via Po oblige to an attention that normally lacks for the other city monuments.
