Palazzo Madama

The architectural (and historical) unicum of Piazza Castello (and the city) is Palazzo Madama, in its two-faced version, which makes it the center of the "institutional" square with the Juvarrian facade. The center of the second square, with the "restoration", accentuates the characteristics of the castle of the pre-existing Palace.

The picture taking from Google Maps, highlights the perfect geometry of the square, obtained with many subsequent designs to achieve a sort of sleight of hand: constitute a frame for Palazzo Madama but not leaving behind the role of Palazzo Reale.
