New architectures instead of villas with gardens

The front to the north of Viale del Re, in front of the Valentino Park, undergoes several transformations, such as the inside of the blocks. Starting from Corso Cairoli we find the two buildings of the late nineteenth century, united by the lower building, in replacement of the original building Rossano, then an elegant house housing, on the corner with Via della Rocca, the forties of the nineteenth century. At the other corner of Via della Rocca we see today the great Palazzo "Novecento" of the offices of Gualino, designed by Giuseppe Pagano and Gino Levi Montalcini in 1928. The palace, recognized as an important work of the early Italian rationalism, was born following the demolition of Villa Gallenga, a project by Frizzi in 1835.

The two buildings on the corner with Via della Rocca, the Palazzo "Novecento" and the apartment building of the late 19th century. Both have been the subject of restoration and change of use in recent years.
