The suspension bridge Maria Teresa

The bridge Maria Teresa was built in 1840. At that moment it was within the confines of the city, but then it started to be a public benefit. Torino expanded beyond the big boulevard, especially where hamlet San Salvario and Porta Nuova were born. Since 1879, it had been used for pedestrian traffic.
