The flowering
In late spring, between the end of May and the beginning of July, you can admire the famous flowering phenomenon in which lentil flowers, cornflowers, gentians, daisies, daffodils, poppies, buttercups, violets and other numerous floral species flourish simultaneously transforming this expanse into a vast multitude of colors, creating an explosion worthy of a famous impressionist work.
The Altopiano di Castelluccio is the scene of the "Flowering", a phenomenon due, in fact, to the contemporary flowering of dozens of different floral species that give rise to a multicolored carpet that covers the entire valley (Festa della Fiorita).
