At the time of its peak of production, among the many visitors to the factory who were photographed on the test track, there was also the well-known Swiss architect and urban planner, Le Corbusier. In one of his two visits (1925 and 1935) he is said to have said: "Here is the solution to a well-posed problem. [... ] A Florentine work, pointed, clear and clear", after having defined the factory as an "impressive spectacle of industry".
