Decommissioning and new headquarters Mirafiori

In 1939 a part of the activities are moved to the new (and current) headquarters of Mirafiori for the risk of air attacks. During the war, the plant was bombed several times, both by the British and the Americans, because it was considered a strategic target to stop the substantial production of war. Then the crisis of the early 1980s, the factory was forced to deindustrialize until its final closure in 1982.
