Seventeenth-century Palazzo dei Rolli on Strada Nuova, set up as a municipal museum of great interest
The most important building on the seaside part of Strada Nuova, with two courtyards separated by an arcade and two noble floors for the Brignole-Sale brothers, commissioned in the second half of the 1600s. Beautifully frescoed, it hosted a large collection of paintings of the family, donated to the Municipality with the Palace and today enjoyable in a setting considered as the progenitor of the new Italian museology.
