A noble palace purchased to become the representative seat of the Savoy, today home to an important state museum
The most important of the "seaside" buildings in via Balbi, that newly built road which in the seventeenth century proposes the model of the "New Road", innovative in architecture towards the port, has housed since 1823 the residence of the Savoy Kings, who altered for the pumps of the throne some of the rooms of a noble residence still perfectly set up and preserved in a museum of itself.
