Fence burning and reconstruction
Despite the controversy over the origin of the castle, scholars agree on one thing - in the first period of the second millennium there was a wooden fence erected to protect part of the Galicia-Volyn principality. After a large-scale fire in the 13th century, the tree was replaced by stone.
