Disputes about the origin of the castle
Scholars are still debating the dating of the fortress. Due to numerous reconstructions that fortress underwent, it was not possible to indicate the exact period of origin, the oldest written sources date back to the 14th century. However, recent archaeological research does not rule out that it could have been built many years earlier.
