Natalka Poltavka

October 27, 1882 - Ivan Kotlyarevsky’s play "Natalka Poltavka", it was staged for the first time. Since that moment, M. Kropyvnytskyi opened a new page of the Ukrainian culture: the theater became professional (later it will be called Corypheivs Theater.) This day - on October 27, 1882 - was considered day of birth of the first Ukrainian professional theater.
