The square on which the theater faces is a quiet place. It has a garden that is always well maintained and the buildings around are historic and elegant. Some of them are: "The House of the Jewish People" was built in 1908 and was the center of the cultural and social life of the Jews. " The House of the Romanian People" which in Soviet times was used as a post for high-ranking officers. In addition, next to the central garden there is a small avenue dedicated to artistic characters who began their career in the city of Chernivtsi. Opposite the theater stands a sculpture that rappresents Olga Kobylianska.
