The theatre in the XIX century

Between 1824 and 1825 some projects of restruction of the stage started and the sardinian Royal Company was hosted. During May 1832 the theatre passes to the Finance. In 1845 the new restorations made by King Carlo Alberto bring to the use of the gaslight. The hall gains the current look. In 64 the theatre was transferred to the City of Turin, that regave to it glory and elegance. During 83 the city auctioned off the theatre, it was bought by Pietro Carrera's society who gave it a younger look.
